Disadvantage 1 : Unwillingness
After all the different advantages of hypnosis, yes there are some cons to it. Mainly whether the subject is willing to be hypnotized or not. Forcing him or her to go through the hypnosis process will not yield any sort of results as he or she is not willing to go through the whole procedure and will make the entire session a torture.
After the reading the various advantages listed above, I'm sure you can say that hypnosis isn't really that scary and there's really nothing to hold you back from going through the treatment.
Disadvantage 2 : It Takes Time
Most people not only want to solve their problems, but to also solve them as quick as possible. I will have to disappoint you and say that hypnosis for smoking isn't a one time procedure and will not be able to solve your smoking habits in 1 session. There needs to be a degree of consistency and discipline.
The subject must be willing to head to the sessions several different times in order to see any sort of improvements. Although most do see an improvement in the first session, however everyone is different and have do not have the discipline and mindset so it will be almost impossible to set a definite time frame on when the smoking habit can be totally kicked. However it could be said that if you can have the discipline to follow and continue going for the hypnosis sessions, improvements can definitely be seen.
What Will You Do?
Now that you already know the existence of hypnosis as one of the possible methods you can take note into quitting smoking, would you prefer to waste money in buying "stop smoking aides" and struggling with those or to undergo a treatment that offers a relaxed and effective process?
By now you should also know that various hazards smoking can cause to your health, isn't time for you to do something about it?
Bear in mind, quitting smoking isn't only about you. It's also about the loved ones around you too.
