My name is Alvin. I have been practicing fitness and equipping myself with health and fitness knowledge for the last 6 years. Over the past 6 years I have been experimenting a lot with various techniques and regimes which 'claim' to work and trying out non mainstream methods on losing weight. Let me give a brief history of myself.

I was never into fitness and taking care of myself until 6 years ago. What sparked off was a simple workout I read online about plyometrics and how to acquire a greater vertical jump. That got me intrigued and started doing the exercises listed out in the workout plan I read.

Soon I was required to access the gym for various exercises listed out in the book. I was hooked onto weight lifting and decided to move on and focus on that instead. With weight lifting, it moved on into image. We all want to look good in front of the mirror. So I went into extensive research on how to acquire a body I wanted.

Over the next 5 years, I have experimented and tried so many various techniques, diets and exercise regimes until I have found out what really works and what doesn't. Powerlifting, Bodybuilding, Olympic lifting, Calisthenics (body weight exercises). Tried gaining weight, losing weight, gaining muscle, losing fat, manipulating water and sodium intake etc. All these required researching and experimenting in order to achieve the best of my goals. It came to a point where I realised the amount of misinformation on the internet is astounding! Most articles you read are basically a copied version of another, and the copied version is being rephrased and republished into another and the cycle goes from there.

Most of the weight loss articles you read online are written by people who have NO knowledge about actual health, fitness and nutrition. Articles are just rephrased and republished one after another, causing the mountain of health and nutrition myths online. And why do people wonder they never make progress? They Googled and read the first page and assumed everything there is the truth!

The internet is useful, very useful for information. That is only if you know what sort of information to extract and filter. I have compiled all the information through my research and experience of me and my trainees over the years on what to do and what NOT to do and produced an eBook.

This eBook will NOT be covering the generic questions of weight loss, but actually teaching about controlling weight gain and loss and assist your goals of losing weight. What does this mean? I will not be talking on how to "eat lesser", "get friends for motivation", "get support", "start exercising", "have a goal and plan", "change your lifestyle", "drop the sugar", "eat more fruits" etc. All these I am sure you have seen countless times and got tired of it.

This eBook is personally written by me and the information inside is NOT being randomly copied off from a random site.  I have to mention that not everyone is the same and not everyone body works the same way, however there are certain facts which everyone's body works the same way and these have to be taken advantaged of to maximize weight and fat loss. I will be going through these points in the eBook.
