"A Fast Way To Lose Weight??"
People nowadays constant have this question in their minds. Why? Simple, for various different reasons. they need to lose their weight, and need to lose them fast. Due to the fact the internet and media (such as magazines and TV shows) being convenient and information is easily delivered to us, most of us rely on them for our dose of nutrition facts and hopefully find the solution that solves our weight loss problems.
Many times we have tried but failed to accomplish our weight loss goals. If you are one of these people, you would consider the topic of weight loss as a waste of time, money and effort.
You have invested your time finding the fastest and most efficient way to losing weight and trying out different methods but have yet to succeed. Articles, books, magazines, newsletters, friends' recommendations etc, all of them provide valuable yet conflicting information at times which makes the learning process even tougher. You wish to hop onto the quickest and optimized route to reducing your pounds, but with all the contradictory information around, you'd probably end up going in circles and wasting your time and not achieving anything.
You have invested money by buying expensive equipments, buying various fat burning supplements, paying for expensive procedures, only to end up feeling disappointed. These fees adds up and amount to a large sum over time. In the end you've ended up with a big fat hole in your wallet and tons of useless products at home which ends up collecting dust.
You may have invested too much effort going to the gym and performing strenuous activities because that is what your personal instructor told you to. While you put in effort exercising, your instructor sits back, relaxes and counts your money. Even after thinking it may be a worthy investment, months later, you'd realized you look nothing close to your fitness instructor.
So, if you would notice, the whole process of losing weight may seems to take forever and eventually not even work at all. Instead of trying again, you would decide to stop.
You've done a lot, but achieved nothing close to your goals, it is inevitable that you just decided that it's enough. I do not blame you, it is not your fault. I will blame the information that you were led to believe from the beginning.
The reasons why it is hard for you to drop your weight are due to mistakes. You fall into various mistake categories and that takes up a lot of your time, money and effort before you find the fastest and the most efficient way (if you actually do).
You follow the wrong direction from the start so instead of seeing light at the end of the tunnel, you end up facing a huge fat concrete wall. Bumping into a series of these walls is what makes it hard for us to continue our progress.
Below are some of the common paths that lead you to a series of these walls:
Most advertisements about weight loss supplements and products involve attractive images and messages and even include gorgeous and physically fit celebrities. Their objective is to promote a weight loss product or equipment. It is easy for us to fall into these sort of advertising when we see the physically fit celebrities flaunting their fit bodies on screen claiming it is the result of the product they are endorsing. We fail to realize that those products may have nothing to do with their looks. It is very tempting to believe the ads which companies have pumped millions of dollars into their marketing and advertising. Convincing you, that's what marketing companies do right?
Some books and blogs have a very professional look and feel, which is why it is easy for you to believe in all the information written. But you should know that bloggers and writers are given the freedom to write what they think they know about. Weight loss seems to gather a lot of attention lately, and it is very simple to start writing with no lack of resources as the entire internet is fill up with information. They take random articles and start compiling them, packaged it and start promoting.
With this, they can earn money through their blogs and books even when the information they provided are not really based on their expertise but only based on what they have researched online.
Our human brain is designed in a way that we believe that the more complex a method is, the higher the chances of it working. This leads to a pile of gibberish in articles which promotes many complicating and expensive procedures to obtain a simple result. Add on a few logical sounding reasons and we are going to fall for it.
Last but not least, when desperation kicks in, we allow ourselves to become a very vulnerable target. We'd grab whatever solution or technique introduced to us without knowing their efficiency.
This indeed can make us a very easy mark by companies with any sort of marketing and advertising skills. This attitude is one of the reasons that lead us nowhere in our weight loss progress.
Weight loss ends up looking like a rocky path because you are going to be faced with many different and contradictory information. Most of this information are not actually facts but only mere hearsays and products of excellent writing and marketing skills. Misinformation is the reason why losing weight is such a painful process and is filled with concrete walls of different sizes along the way. It is like going the wrong route for your trip and ending up in a miserable state, we all know how that felt.
And what does this turn you into?
You turn into another victim of a weight loss failure which people love to make fun of. It is embarrassing for us to continue trying and get no results of any sort, especially when you have people around you are not supportive.
